The Prayer Circle was started by Bro. Dr. Mathews Vergis on 10th November 1992 with the vision to “Pray without ceasing”
(1Thess- 5:17). Membership to the ministry is given to those who voluntarily dedicate themselves to pray for at least 15 minutes every dawn or at any other convenient time of the day for the subjects listed in the monthly prayer circulars issued by Bro. Dr. Mathews Vergis. Members are dedicated to this ministry during the fasting prayers. The IDCF ministry has made great strides since the inception of the prayer circle.

World Word Watch (WWW) was started in 2001 as a continuation of the Bible squad Home cell ministry, founded for the completion of the Millennium Modern Malayalam Bible Project. Though it was intended initially as a prayer ministry for the protection and promotion of the new translation of the Bible in Malayalam (Vishudha Sathyavedapusthakam), it soon grew to become the backbone of the prayer ministries of the IDCF. With its motto, “Praise the Lord, Promote the Word, Pray without Ceasing”, the WWW has gone great lengths in strengthening the individual and collective prayers of its members.
