Books, periodicals, and the printed Word play a very important role in spreading the Gospel. Burdened with the necessity to promote and facilitate this, Bro. Dr. Mathews Vergis started IDCF Publications on 10th September 1990, the IDCF newsletter being the first publication which was edited, printed and published by Brother Mathews Vergis himself.

Several books authored by Bro. Dr. Mathews Vergis and the biography of Ven. Yohannan Upadeshi written by the Venerable Babu Upadeshi, have since been published as well. The newsletters started by Brother has grown over the years and now become the official monthly publication, IDCF magazine which is subscribed by the IDCF members.
